My dad got a really old laptop that came with windows 2000. when we got the laptop whe we started it up it brought up a screen that sais you need a password to access it. Nobody at my dads work knows the pass but i heard that you can download linux by not logging in. So…….how do you do this if it is possible? Directions or links would be great. Thank you!
YOU CANNOT load Linux on Windows man. Coz you can load an OS on top of another OS.
If it is a Windoze password, there are ways around it. If it is a bios-based startup password check with the mfgr and see what if anything can be done to get around it. Google may have the necessary info as well.
laptop screen.Its the $ 400 dollar model. the site just says “July” but does anyone know the exact release date for the USA?
This laptop will be available from June 3rd at online stores such as Best Buy, Amazon, and Costco.
The first wave already went out to those that pre-ordered them through MSI directly. Supposedly some online retailers will have a shipment of them on 7/21 (monday). Amazon has them for sale now but are not due to ship until mid-late august. This is only for the 3-cell battery version. The 6-cell battery version is due out in September although you can buy the 6-cell battery separate when it comes out.
