Yesterday, I went to a mall to buy Laptop BenQ S32B-L.E21 but later on I found out that it could not detect any mouse after the shopkeeper has change different mouses for three times. She said the reason is because Linux Linpus cannot detect any mouse. Is it true?Anyone who knows, please help me. Thanks

I don’t know about that version or that hardware, but Linux can certainly detect USB hardware. I do it all the time…I use a regular USB mouse with my laptop and a variety of storage devices, a camera, my phone, etc. Linux detects them all.

You need to talk to someone who knows what they are talking about. Try the manufacturer web site.

toshiba honeycomb tablet get I have an HP laptop and I am currently running win7 on, is there a way to dual boot with linux?

Yes, easily. If you use Ubuntu or an Ubuntu-based distribution like Linux Mint, the installer will take care of everything for you. Just put the image onto a CD (using image-burning software like imgburn) and boot off of it. When you run the installer, you’ll be presented with several options, like dual-booting, using the entire disk, or taking care of it manually. If you choose the option for dual-booting, you’ll see a slider you can drag back and forth to allocate more or less space for Ubuntu. After that, just hit next and follow the instructions on screen. Ubuntu will automatically install a boot manager that lets you choose which OS to boot into.

Yes, Just make sure you have two different partitions present on your computer. Install windows 7 on one of them and install Linux on the other after installing windows.
