Q&A: How to find out the circuit diagram for sony tv?

It was a christmas treat I purchased for myself and I decided not to set it up until Christmas day.

The set up was extremely easy, hook up a HDMI cable to the amp or blu-ray player, use the remote and select “menu” and choose “x.v.Color mode”. In a few seconds, you have the dynamic images from the blu-ray disc projected on the screen, the colors are extremely even, the white real bright, and the black real dark.
I am not an expert and it is my first projector. But I did all the research I could do. Initially I want to buy Optoma HD20 but found Epson 8350 was much better. I am so happy. It’s so wasteful to spend so much money on HD TV’s which do not make even half the picture size of this monster. I am projecting it on a 138 inch screen.

The mount leverages three of the five holes on the projector. I have to tell you this is a nice piece of hardware It’s really stiff which is great for vibration and in the event you bump it. Hands down an amazing mount.

I ran one HDMI from my Sony AV Receiver and it works wonderfully displaying PC, Cable TV, Bluray, and Xbox.

I have this hooked up to an Onkyo receiver via HDMI and I have a PS3, XBOX360 and a custom built media center pc all hooked up in the remaining HDMI inputs on the Onkyo receiver. I am displaying a 120 inch screen of 1080p magnificence that my previous projector couldn’t even come close to. I know there are other projectors out there that have an even bigger wow effect and besides this projector not being 3D capable there is nothing else wrong or discomforting about this unit. If you are in the market for a great projector at a great price this is the one for youtrust me you will not be sorry you did.

This is my first projector with image shift capability. Lack of keystone correction concerned me, but turned out to be a total non-problem. From out of the box to projecting a great HD 120 inch image was less than 20 minutes.

I wanted to have a NATIVE 1080P RESOLUTION which I do not regret and would not get a projector with lower resolution. One may notice that a projectors specs say they can do 1080 but this is misleading as this is not NATIVE resolution, meaning they try to upconvert to a 1080i (i=interpolated) and it is not the same thing, not even close. I want to see blu rays in their full resolution which this does. One may also purchase an A/V receiver to upconvert the source material for best picture quality, my Blu Ray player also does this upconversion, but it is still not a true 1080P. While not as good as the 1080P one will see when playing a Blu Ray disc for example, the picture from HD cable channel which is 720P is still AMAZING just as good as the picture on my 42 inch LCD HDTV and better than my older 55 inch rear projection HDTV. High Def video from a home video source such as full 1080P from an AVCHD format camcorder for example is stunning and home movies look as good or better than store bought if done properly. The input source is of course going to dictate how good the picture is, so it will look as good as the source input, this is not always the case with all projectors, they have to have the capacity to project the image at full input resolution such as this one. Most projectors that have this resolution cost more and a flat panel in the screen sizes this is capable of are going to be many thousands of dollars more.

This unit when working is not a bad unit. However, I have received this Auto Iris error 2 times in less than 2 months. There is no fix that an individual can apply; it requires being sent back to the manufacturer. This process is cumbersome as they want to charge you for a brand new unit, and then will refund you once they receive the old unit back. Or you can send your defective unit back and they will over-night another unit to you. Second option doesn’t sound bad, right? Well, it takes 3 weeks for them to turnaround and ship your unit back. If this defection only occurred once, I would give it 4 stars, but twice in less than 2 months not so much.

I use the projector for HD content on the ROKU and gaming on my XBOX 360. I get ZERO gaming lag and the picture quality is amazing Looks like a GIANT LCD screen.

I’d give you the website and passwords….but then I’d have to KILL YOU!!

What’s good about being dead….when you can’t watch TV.

Just call your local Sony Authorized Service Center, they’ll PROPERLY repair the problem for a competitive price and you won’t mess up the TV set, ruining the copper traces or breaking the new $ 40 parts you just bought….and you’ll need 2….yes 2 convergence amplifiers!

You can get from(www.eserviceinfo.com)
